I finally get to share my adventures from Brisbane, Australia!
Brisbane is the capital of Queensland and a big modern city set on the Brisbane River. It is also often referred to as “BrisVegas” or “Brissy” by the locals.
During the month of December, I spent three festive weeks exploring Brisbane to the fullest…I ADORED.
These are my experiences and places to see when in Brisbane:The Gold Coast, is a must-see. A mini-Miami kinda place if you want to getaway from the city and just be as casual as the beach. (45min Drive from Brisbane)
The Palazzo Versace Hotel Gold Coast was one of my favorite hotels along the coast. It was, literally, everything Versace!
Being surrounded by the greenery, boats and water – were, without a doubt, vacation goals to the max!
This was one of my favorite pieces inside the Versace Hotel…couldn’t stop admiring the bag!
For the gelato lover! This was a must have in Australia’s hot (at times humid) weather.
One thing’s for sure, I 100% recommend…sunblock. Australia’s sun is super strong (even when the skies appear gray). I kinda learned the hard way! Some of my current favorites are Nivea , Sun Bum and Alba sunblock.
The Xmas Markets in the city were super festive. I felt like I walked in to the North Pole, only it was more like the Down Under Pole! All the decor, lights, music and sweets were so inviting and on-point.

Mount Tamborine was another favorite place of mine. It’s one of Queensland’s secret treasures. It’s a small town situated on a Mountain, surrounded by tropical rainforest and colorful-exotic birds. (You may just be able to spy a koala out there). It’s very photo-esque. I also fell in love with this place called the Cheese Factory. They made their own delicious cheeses that went well with wine – the perfect little afternoon combo.
The West End’s farmer’s markets was another popular place. It had more of an alternative feel to it. I loved that it had a lot of vegan and fresh healthy food options. Cute cafes too!

Chic yet comfy for the traveler woman: Sperry shoes
These were my fave shoes to adventure out in: J Slides
Ah, Mister Fitz…how I miss you. This little gem had just opened in the Fortitude Valley…and yes it was the finest ice cream in all of Brisbane!
The pink exterior reminded me of something out of the Grand Budapest Hotel.
Selfies with Buddha at Pepper’s Broad Beach Zen Garden – another great stay at the Gold Coast with amazing views of the beach.
My go-to sweet place and a coffee was at Max Brenner’s Chocolate Bar. There’s a chain of them and I would totally recommend it for the chocolate lover.
Hotel View…enjoyed it most with a cup of coffee in the mornings.

Eleven was one of thee bars to go for drinks and food during the day and night. It’s located in the Valley with views of the city.
