One of my favorite hair styles is the healthy and effortless wavy beach hair look. This look makes waves even in the Fall!
Wavy hair is the easiest look for me to personally style on an every day basis. I love how it brings voluminous life to flat hair and it’s just so Victoria’s Secret sexy! I also want to add that you don’t have to have the thickest hair to achieve these full looking waves. I have fine and baby hair myself and the wavy hair look is perfect to give it liveliness and fullness.
It’s not just about how you use the curling iron to achieve those waves, rather, it’s also about what you put into your hair that helps to create effortless wavy hair. To give it that salon fresh look from home, I used Suave.
I recently scored the new Suave Beauty collection (Coconut Oil Infusion) from Walmart. I’ve been testing out the Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair shampoo, conditioner, and oil treatment for about a month now – absolutely loving it! The 3-step system visibly repairs damage hair for luscious, healthy-looking hair. Another big bonus for me is that I love coconut everything and it is infused with pure coconut oil, a natural moisturizer, and delivers lightweight moisture without weighing hair down.
To get those effortless waves:
1. I begin by washing my hair and applying the Suave shampoo and conditioner. Making my hair smooth and cool!
2. After my hair is brushed out and still damped, I apply a dime size of the Oil treatment to the ends of my hair.
3. I try as much as I can to let my hair air dry as opposed to blow drying. I know time can be sensitive so blow drying would be my second option; however, I personally find my best results when letting my hair air dry.
4. Once hair is dry, I begin the curling process. I grab pieces of hair and curl outward on each side, slowly releasing the curls. I typically start with the left side if my hair, then right, and lastly the back (repeat for a second time) mainly focusing on curling strands at the top of for a voluminous look. At last, I use the tip of my fingers to give my hair a little wavy shake and walllahhh!
These are my simple steps for achieving the effortless wavy hair look! I’ve been loving how my waves have been turning out as of lately big thanks to the Coconut Oil Infusion 3-step system.
