PASSPORT TO THE MEXICAN CARIBBEAN: CANCUN | TULUM | PLAYA DEL CARMEN.

Passport to the Mexican Caribbean – giving you a little beach and sunshine with a recap from my Summer’17 trip!

I was back and forth exploring Cancun, Tulum, and Playa del Carmen. Amongst the three, Tulum was my fave! It’s super photo-dreamy, has lots of trendy spots, and breathtaking beaches.

I went on this unforgettable getaway for two weeks with Mikey (mi novio), family, and friends! We went on different adventures like Coba Mayan Village, swam in Cenotes, saw ruins in Tulum, ate at authentic restaurants with Mayan traditional food, and visited their cutest beaches.

The one excursion that stood out to me the most (and made me feel so in touch with nature) was one that was recommended by a friend whom was recommended by a Professor…and I don’t know who recommended the professor! I really wouldn’t have known about this tour because it’s not one that you find listed in many hotel tour guides.

We went on this excursion with Osprey Tours and had a private tour guide showing us around, talking to us about the history of the Mayans. We also went swimming or floating through the fresh mayan canals and walked into the jungle to learn about the meanings/stories of different trees and ruins. This also included some wild-life sight seeing and visiting a private beach.

Hope you get some inspiration for your next ticket to the Mexican Caribbean or any other beautiful destination!

Adios Mexico! I’ll be baaaack!!
