Can it get better than those Fall late afternoon dates, where you get to catch cotton candy skies together?
My neighborhood is very lively and I love walking by foot to a selection of places, rather than driving (so much more romantic). When it comes to styling my outfits, my footwear selections have to be comfortable for those long walks, yet still look stylish for the occasion.
For this late afternoon date, I went with my Sorel boots that I recently got from Zappos. I styled these fashion-forward boots with skinny jeans and a tanned off the shoulder knitted-sweater. These boots have an edge to them with their combat-looking style but still have a chic flair with the wedge and brown tones. Alternatively, I would also style these boots with a dress. I decided on a more simple casual look for a casual late afternoon date.
Have to comment – these boots are also so-so COMFY! I walked up and down town for a walk around the park, a visit to the museum, and dinner (zero signs of tired-ness). Hand in hand, as we walked around the flashing city lights, I felt all the Fall vibes and confidently casual with my whole look.
What caught my attention when I first found these boots on Zappos, were the straps and the colors. The shoes have all the right elements: bold, comfort, uniqueness, and Fall perfection!
