I’m definitely a jeans girl. I gotta have them all!

The boyfriend, flared, skinnies, straight leg, ripped and now … cuffed jeans.

They are a style of jean you don’t see as much, compared to the bunch. That is why I’m especially loving them! I would describe them as edgy, daring and yes… so Grease! Female version of the T-birds. urban outfitters

These are 3 ways to style cuffed jeans:

First look, the casual. I paired up the jeans with casual J/Slides and a basic button up collared top. It’s simple, chic. An alternative casual look is, pairing them up with a tee of your favorite print or you can do sneakers with a basic tee.Second look, the semi-casual|semi-dressy. I styled this look with a bell sleeves and v cut top. For accessories, I added a dainty gray choker to compliment the top. I’m always a sucker for pointy boots, so I completed the look with semi-casual, semi-dressy booties. Third look, the dressy. I paired up the jeans with classic black…everything from the leather jacket, heels, sheer top to the hat. The silver statement necklace and the military green & black handbag were the perfect accessory to the outfit. It’s very fun, comfy and still effortlessly trendy for the night’s shenanigans!

Sometimes, you just gotta unwind and play some good ‘ol tunes.

Getting a Crosley Vinyl Player, is the perfect treat to yourself. It’s your time to be in your own little bubble and to seek inspiration especially after a long day or my favorite time…Sunday mornings!

The feeling of music coming from a vinyl record is just so much different then music streaming from your computer or phone…so much more authentic and raw. Rug

For the record, the next best thing is getting to be a vinyl junkie and adding to your collection. I’m currently loving vinyls by: The Beatles, The Strokes, Daft Punk, Queen, Bob DylanAmy Wine House and Outkast.

I finally get to share my adventures from Brisbane, Australia!

Brisbane is the capital of Queensland and a big modern city set on the Brisbane River. It is also often referred to as “BrisVegas” or “Brissy” by the locals.

During the month of December, I spent three festive weeks exploring Brisbane to the fullest…I ADORED.

These are my experiences and places to see when in Brisbane:The Gold Coast, is a must-see. A mini-Miami kinda place if you want to getaway from the city and just be as casual as the beach. (45min Drive from Brisbane)The Palazzo Versace Hotel Gold Coast was one of my favorite hotels along the coast. It was, literally, everything Versace! IMG_6499Being surrounded by the greenery, boats and water – were, without a doubt, vacation goals to the max! This was one of my favorite pieces inside the Versace Hotel…couldn’t stop admiring the bag!For the gelato lover! This was a must have in Australia’s hot (at times humid) weather. Processed with VSCOcam with a8 preset Processed with VSCOcam with a7 preset

One thing’s for sure, I 100% recommend…sunblock. Australia’s sun is super strong (even when the skies appear gray). I kinda learned the hard way! Some of my current favorites are Nivea , Sun Bum and Alba sunblock.

The Xmas Markets in the city were super festive. I felt like I walked in to the North Pole, only it was more like the Down Under Pole! All the decor, lights, music and sweets were so inviting and on-point.SOYELLOW

BLUENECKLACEMount Tamborine was another favorite place of mine. It’s one of Queensland’s secret treasures. It’s a small town situated on a Mountain, surrounded by tropical rainforest and colorful-exotic birds. (You may just be able to spy a koala out there). It’s very photo-esque. I also fell in love with this place called the Cheese Factory. They made their own delicious cheeses that went well with wine – the perfect little afternoon combo. The West End’s farmer’s markets was another popular place. It had more of an alternative feel to it. I loved that it had a lot of vegan and fresh healthy food options. Cute cafes too!IMG_8009

Chic yet comfy for the traveler woman: Sperry shoes

These were my fave shoes to adventure out in: J Slides

Ah, Mister Fitz…how I miss you. This little gem had just opened in the Fortitude Valley…and yes it was the finest ice cream in all of Brisbane! The pink exterior reminded me of something out of the Grand Budapest Hotel. Selfies with Buddha at Pepper’s Broad Beach Zen Garden – another great stay at the Gold Coast with amazing views of the beach. My go-to sweet place and a coffee was at Max Brenner’s Chocolate Bar. There’s a chain of them and I would totally recommend it for the chocolate lover. Hotel View…enjoyed it most with a cup of coffee in the mornings.

At Broad Beach. Wearing: H&M Swim.

Feeling more on the wild side,  Nasty Gal Lingerie is the perfect option. If you’ve been dating for a while and want to get next-level with your girl, a Cartier Love Ring or Michael Kors Rose Gold Bracelet would be dreamy. For all things beauty and for the traveler: Shinola Leather Passport  – Yves Saint Laurent Perfector – Forever21 Silver Nail Polish – Tory Burch Passport Wallet are all great selections. (Ladies, you should probably send your Valentine a link to this post)

Lately, I’ve been dreaming all day about my adidas.

I’m inspired by this cool and uniformed look on this cozy season.

This is the perfect outfit when I want to throw something quickly on or make a run to the grocery store, while still looking and feeling up-to-the-minute!

The all black and white classic adidas look, with the matching comfy sneakers, is my ultimate fave! The splash of spots on the outer sole adds some fun to the sneakers while still keeping it simple.

Keep it sporty with style!

Brr, baby it’s been cold!

A hot piece that has been my fave this winter, has been the faux-fur.

I’ve been having a ton of fun dressing up this season, especially when selecting my jackets. From simple colors to wild colors, faux fur selections have been quite the eye catcher on the recent dull streets. They make an outfit look extra glamorous and stylish both day and night.

You can pair it up with a beanie or hat with denim jeans and sneakers, during the day. Switch it up with an evening party dress or leather pieces and heels, during the night. Its your bold piece must have to add to your basics.

I’ve gathered some of my fave eco-fur collections that are effortless in rocking this trend.

Had a good time, live’n up the day in my Levis shorts.

I’ve been in the land of Aus for the Holiday season. With the super warm temperatures out here, my white Levis cut-off shorts (similar) is one of my favorite pieces to have with me on this trip. They’re so versatile and comfy. Plus, they make for the most effortless look during summer!

There are many ways to pair up cut-off shorts. On this day, I kept it simple with an off-white top, silver jewelry, and Free People (similar) tan wedges which is another favorite of mine! They’re everything my shorts are, but in a shoe version.

I got to explore the markets in Brisbane’s West End area. Stumbled upon some hole-in-the-wall juice spots and fun colored walls that made for a nice backdrop. I also got to stop by the river that is just so peaceful to look at. The river and view of the tall buildings were so picturesque.

The ever-so classic Levis shorts and ready-for-walk Free People wedges were the perfect duo to have a … WANDER-ful day in Brisbane, Australia!
