Slip dresses have made a serious comeback since it’s heyday in the 90’s.

Kate Moss, Jennifer Aniston in Friends, and the girls from Clueless the movie are a few of my 90’s slip dress inspiration.

For a very cool and easy look, you can wear it on its own or add a tee (like I did for this look), a turtleneck or a leather jacket depending on the season.

For this Summer season, I decided to spice up my slip dress by getting one with a palm print from Topshop. Especially because I went on a little weekend getaway to the San Diego harbor, I had to make it appropriate for the occasion.

My slip dress was paired up with a basic white tee and some suede lace up summer heels. The color tones of my outfit made me feel very lively having lunch by the harbor and taking a stroll by the boats feeling lots of vacation feels, even though it was for a weekend and a couple hours away from home.

San Diego harbor was just so relaxing and even got to go on a little boat ride with a little roseyyy – bout that boat life! Well, only for the weekend that is. Being surrounded by palm trees with a palm print dress was so right on! Although, I didn’t get a  chance to go paddle boarding, there’s always next time! After all, it’s only a couple hours away from LA!

In my slip dress, I felt like a modern 90’s summer gal in my weekend getaway to San Diego and it couldn’t get much better than that! Goals, check mark.

Here are some slip dresses I think you’ll love including my Palm Print Dress!
